I went to the Farmer's market last Tuesday morning to get some veggies. I ended up talking with the corn guy, and he gave me much advice about what corn was the best (his obviously) and I ended up with a free ear of corn!
After a run, it started to rain. Santa Fe is in a desert, so there is very little rainfall throughout the year, except for in August. It rains pretty consistently most afternoons. The rain that day was particularly strong, but I had a good book to keep me company!
The best part about the rains is that after a storm, the sun comes out and everything looks beautiful! Often there is a rainbow, and Stoops saw it! He called me to let me know, but it was gone by the time I went out side.
But the way that the sun was shining through the clouds made everything look warm and bright! All of these pictures were taken on our street.
The snails looked like they were enjoying the rain!
